Chogan waited long enough for Kit to get out before he closed the door completely. Trying to be quiet about it incase whoever was driving that squad car had heightened hearing. He didn’t bother with the handle, knowing it would lock itself, and he strided past Kit to his bike. He glanced sidelong at her long enough to see the way she froze, and her comment that it might be coming back gave him pause. Could she hear it?
“Are you a were or a shifter?” He found himself asking suddenly, he strained his own ears and couldn’t ear the cruiser. But it wasn’t time to chit chat. They had to get out of there.
Despite how much of a “bad boy” Chogan tried to be, he was a good kid. It was just difficult to see under the glare and anger he constantly wore on the outside. Besides, this girl was interesting, and he didn’t want her hating him just yet. Not until he- What? Got bored? Probably. Still, he figured if he ever did one nice thing for the girl, it would be getting her out of this mess. And besides, she could owe him later…
Without a second thought, he was moving his backpack to his front, grabbing his helmet, and used long strides back to Kit. Without a second thought he was plopping that helmet down over her head. “Get on,” He instructed, not quite a demand, but there was a slight urgency to his tone as he turned back to the bike. He straddled it and turned the key, revving it to life, while he looked over his shoulder at her. “What are you waiting for? You want to get caught or not?” he asked with a arched brow.

She was trying not to panic, and wondered if maybe she just confessed the whole truth, she'd just get off with a warning.
Wait, why she worrying about this crap before she was even caught! It wasn't the first time she'd snuck into an abandoned building, but she was far from being like this delinquent right next to her. Who was suddenly talking, and she blinked before looking back over to him.
'Are you a were or a shifter?'
Kit hadn't been able to sense much from him, so he certainly wasn't a fox or a wolf. He didn't have that aura that witches gave off, but there was...something about him. And the fact that he asked that question made it clear that he at least knew of the supernatural kind that lived in Xander's Cross.
"A fox," she answered him quickly, but no, there was no time for chit chat right now. Especially when she was pretty certain that patrol car was coming back. Mouth opened again to say such before he was plopping that helmet onto her head. Did he just say to get on the bike?!
"W-what?" No, she heard him, but she was fighting with her brain on whether that was such a good idea or not. It was possible she could just run into the woods, pray she didn't get lost, and find her way back home. At the same time, however, that adrenaline was suddenly kicking in, and the curiosity was getting the best of her.
Taking just a heartbeat longer to think, she shifted that saddle bag behind her as she rushed over; climbing onto the bike behind him and feeling an immediate panic, especially with having to wrap her arms around him, lest she stupidly fall off. It was hard to tell whether it was the good or bad kind of panic, if that made any logical sense. Maybe Kit wasn't thinking all too clearly.

Chogan heard “fox” and stored the information away for later. Not that he actually cared, but still. He waited for Kit to make her mind up, nearly telling her to forget it when she finally decided to comply. He waited for her to climb on. Feeling her arms wrap around his middle from under his back back he was wearing backwards so she could fit. He revved the bike again, reaching down to place one of his large hands over hers to ensure she was holding on tightly before he opened the throttle and they went moving down the gravel drive.
He released her hand then put his on the handlebar. Looking around carefully at their surroundings as they made it up the gravel drive. “Hold on,” He shout over the soft roar of the bike, as he suddenly turned it off the gravel path and onto a small dirt one. A “short cut” so to speak that would keep them concealed by trees and off the main road for a moment. It was only a wee bit bumpy as he went down the path. He glanced over his shoulder to see that police cruiser turning down the gravel behind them, and he grinned in a “Aha!” Grin, before he turned left at a small gap in the bushes that put them directly on the sidewalk.
He had to lean forward to keep from hitting his head on a low branch on the way out, but once they were clear of the bushes and that small treeline, and on open pavement, Chogan flew them down the road. The wind ruffled his raven black hair as it swept it back. Motorcycle weren’t technically allowed on sidewalks, and the moment it dipped down at a cross street, he was watching traffic before zipping down it and joining the actual part of the road.
Freedom was in their grasps, as the cruiser had turned down that road and hadn’t even known they were there. It was an adrenaline high like you wouldn’t believe, evading the police. He almost forgot he had a girl sitting right behind him. Feeling those slender arms around his middle. He pursed his lips, telling himself it was fine as they slowed to a red light. “Where do you live?” He asked, glancing over his shoulder at her.

Oh man, if Dad could see her now...he'd have a damn fit over this. Kit was a little too eager to get on the back of that bike with this nameless hoodlum, but at the same time, he had given her the only helmet. She certainly hadn't overlooked that, she was just thinking about too many other things right now.
Like, the fact that she had never driven on a motorcycle before, and that she was clinging onto this boy for dear life. Her friends didn't seem very keen on him, which probably made this even more insane that she had immediately trusted him. Or perhaps she was just that concerned about getting caught.
'Hold on.'
She certainly did. Almost squeaking in a brief moment of fear, her arms tightened around him as the two took off onto the gravel path. It might have only been slightly bumpy, but for Kit, she was terrified that she was going to somehow fall off. It was only until they got back onto pavement did all of it seem less scary, and she came to realize that it had actually been fun. She actually caught herself grinning as her tiny vice-like hug eased up and she was breathing again. Kit almost laughed at herself.
So lost in the adrenaline rush, she nearly missed what he had said. "Huh?" He'd asked where she lived. Where she lived with her parents, her father being a cranky old fox. What if one of them was home?
Well, shit.
"Oh, um, over in Gardenview, but you can just drop me off on the main road there," she explained. Funny thing was, she wasn't worried about being seen with him, just being seen on his bike. Kit might've mentioned that, but he didn't really seem to care about anything else she had said.

Chogan was thankful for the red light as it allowed him to hear what she said as he pulled them to a stop. Gardenview? Alright. At least it wasn’t Heathcliff estates. He might rethink his opinion of the girl currently holding onto him. Speaking of which, he was trying to ignore that feeling of her thin arms around him and how tightly she had held on.
Just wait until she finds out your an asshole bro… He reminded himself.
He turned and looked at her, arching a brow. “What, don’t want me to come by and spray paint the side of your house? Bet I could spruce it up.” He said. There was a glimmer of mischief in his eyes, even if his tone had sounded mildly offended. He turned back around just as the light turned green, and he lifted his feet off the pavement before they went zipping down the street. “Suit yourself.” He told her.
He honestly didn’t care where he dropped her off, so long as he dropped her off in a place she wouldn’t yell at him for later. He could have left her to fend for herself, at which point she would have had to face down the cops herself. But she was new in town, and that meant she was interesting. So until he was bored of her, he’d be nice for now.
He continued down the main street before taking a right and maneuvered that bike skillfully down the street until the little sign for garden view came into view. Because of the small town-ness, it didn’t take long at until he was pulling over on the curb of the main street just like she’d requested of him. Keeping the bike in idle, he waited for her to climb off, before he moved his backpack his back.

'What, don't want me to come by and spray paint the side of your house?'
Damn, no, that wasn't even remotely what she had been thinking, but after a second, she realized how her words could have come across. Kit cringed a little, shaking her head. The mischief in his gaze contradicted his tone, and she felt bad because she wasn't sure which she should believe.
"No, no, it's-" she began, but he was already dismissing it before they were off again. She just sighed before that unease began to dissolve at the strange enjoyment of riding on the back of a motorcycle. It was a shame she couldn't tell her parents about this little adventure.
It was true, though- he could have just abandoned her back there, but he hadn't. And unfortunately for Chogan, she wasn't likely going to forget that, even if he was going to continue being a grump about everything. With every minute that passed, Kit was slowly beginning to make a quiet promise to herself that she'd at least get a smile out of this boy. Even if it was a small grin, just as long as it was genuine. He couldn't just be all grimaces and rolling eyes, right?
Once they pulled over at Gardenview's entrance, Kit slid from the back of the bike and pulled the helmet off. She hesitated in giving it over as she ran fingers through her cropped hair in mild thought. "My father would have a conniption if he saw me on the back of a motorcycle," she suddenly said, backtracking the conversation. "That's why." Despite him drawing all over walls of that old building, the thought of him, for whatever reason, defiling her family's new home hadn't come to mind.
Finally, she handed the helmet back with a soft smirk. "Thanks, by the way." If he wasn't quick to just drive off then, she'd rack up the courage to ask. "Do I get to know your name?"

Cho sat there waiting, as the bike rumbled beneath him. His hand was already reaching for the helmet, but it stilled when she didn’t hand it over immediately. He tilted his head to the side slightly as he studied her, and then she blurted out her excuse that had his eyebrows raising on his forehead.
So she hadn’t wanted to get dropped off in front of her house because of the bike huh? Not because of him? Well, it still felt a bit like that, but he’d at least accept the excuse. This time at least. “Most parents do.” He responded. He knew Denali’s mom at least didn’t like him riding around on the “death trap” and Yura told him countless times he and Denali would get hurt if they weren’t too careful, but wasn’t that the part of living? Facing down those fears and ignoring what other people told you?
“Which is why you wear one of those, and keep doing it if it makes you feel alive.” He nodded to the helmet and gestured for her to hand it back to him.
As she did, his dark eyes flickered up to face, and a mischievous smirk appeared on his face. “No, problem. Just consider it a favor.” He told her. And you knew what happened when you made favors… Someone got to call it in, and now Kit owed him.
He was going to hold her too it too…
Blinking curiously at her, he tilted his head slightly in contemplation as he pulled the helmet down on his head. The visor was still up so she could see his face still. “So they didn’t tell you about me.” He remarked. A bit surprised she didn’t know his name already from Cassie and Nolan. Was that a bit of hurt he was feeling? Nah. He’d he have to really care if that was the case, and Chogan wasn’t a narcissistic asshole. That was Todd’s realm.
“Why don’t you figure it out yourself, huh?” That sly grin was back. He was certainly going to make it difficult for her, if only because it would have her coming back to him and keep things interesting. “And don’t ask anyone, Nancy Drew.” Couldn’t have her cheating now could he? He grinned more before he revved that bike. Preparing to leave.

'Most parents do.'
"I'm sure," she said in slight amusement, realizing soon after that it sounded...stupid. Kit almost asked if his parents hated the idea that he rode one but she had a feeling she probably shouldn't. Kit was getting the urge to be nosey and she really shouldn't; she didn't know this boy. At all. And from what she had heard, she thought she shouldn't want to.
'So they didn't tell you about me.'
She supposed he meant Cassie and Nolan and she almost cringed. Well, they sort of had, and none of it had been good, and was sort of brief...but it wasn't hard to assume more, judging by the two's reaction to this vagabond the other day at the arcade. "They spoke of you briefly," she admitted. "Jury is out on how much I believe, though." Kit was holding back a grin, because it was hard to believe he was a complete asshole. Sure, she knew his type and ultimately avoided people like him everywhere, but still...today proved he couldn't be all that bad, right?
And why did she want to prove that further? She must be more bored than she thought.
Then, he was challenging her, and it was hard to mask that grin. Nancy Drew, huh? Alright then, hot shot. "Challenge accepted," she agreed almost immediately. Kit took a couple steps back and refrained from offering her usual, little wave of goodbye, and simply left the situation at that.
Lips pursed in thought, she finally turned around to walk her way to the house. At least she already had two names, so it couldn't be that difficult to figure out.

"Jury is out on how much I believe, though." Chogan couldn't help it. He leaned forward on his bike with interest as he looked over his shoulder, arching his eyebrows at Kit even though she couldn't see them because of the helmet. He grinned, almost giving a shake of his head. Wanting to warn her suddenly about him. He was bad news if you asked everyone else. A delinquent, someone that started fights because he knew he could and it would give a source to take out some needed aggression. He was someone that would be stuck in Xander's Cross forever and go nowhere with his life. Maybe even turn into an angry drunk like Denali's dad...
Still, to hear the jury was still out on him was enough to spike his interest in this new girl.
A smug look appeared on his face when she accepted his challenge. He merely nodded at her, offering no other words as he watched her start to turn to walk to her house. He revved the bike and started to take off on his own then. His mood for once lifted, even if it was only for a that afternoon.
